**Position**: Chef de Cuisine

Centini Restaurant is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Cuisine to take charge of our kitchen. This is not just an office job—it’s a hands-on role where you’ll be actively involved in the daily cooking and kitchen operations. We need a leader who thrives in the kitchen, someone who can both guide the team and personally contribute to every dish that leaves our kitchen. We are offering a unique opportunity for a talented Chef de Cuisine to step into a leadership role with the potential to take over as Executive Chef.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead by example in the kitchen, working alongside the team in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food quality, and presentation.
- Maintain Centini’s high standards by ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes.
- Collaborate with our founder to create innovative seasonal menus that balance tradition with creativity.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste.
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning, professionalism, and teamwork.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Formal culinary training from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience leading a kitchen team while actively participating in daily cooking.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A deep passion for the culinary arts, with an expert understanding of Italian ingredients and techniques.
