Warehouse Yard Manager

**K-Line Construction Ltd.** is a leader in the construction and splicing of telecommunications infrastructure in Atlantic Canada. We are currently seeking a **Warehouse/Yard Manager** to join our team in Bridgetown & Yarmouth NS in a permanent full-time position.

As a Yard Manager, your focus will be to assist our customers and field technicians with picking and loading of their material. Daily reporting is required to ensure accurate recording of all inventories. To obtain successful yard management, we need associates who enjoy physical work, attention to detail, and organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities ensuring compliance with company material handling strategies, policies, processes and contracts.
- Acknowledges and assists customers and field techs as required.
- Loads, unloads, replenishes, and restocks various areas.
- Report accurately of all managed inventories.
- Work with Safety Officer to ensure yard is properly maintained.
- Ensure inventory levels are restocked as needed to maximize field work efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Able to work alone, self manage daily activities and prioritize tasks.
- Fluent with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams, etc..).
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry and material would be an asset.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate ordering/reporting.
- Able to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
- Able to operate a forklift safely.
- Able to carry, raise and lift heavy equipment (approx. 70 lbs).
- Valid drivers license and can provide an abstract. Air Brakes is an asset.
- Able to comply with company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience with safe work practices.
- Experience managing inventory would be an asset.
