**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
Overseeing all phases of the coffee roasting process from green beans to the final product.

Source and select top-quality Indonesian coffee green beans, embed a variety of quality control measures.

Roast coffee in small batches, optimizing our roasters to bring out the unique flavors of each coffee variety.

Monitor roasting process, make necessary adjustments to time and temperature to achieve desired roast consistency and flavor.

Develop roast profiles for new coffee offerings, consistently ensuring product quality.

Conduct regular coffee tastings to ensure flavor consistency and extraordinary experience.

Train staff on the coffee roasting process, techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures.

Provide expert knowledge to team members and customers about the specifications of Indonesian coffee green beans.

Required Skills & Experience:
Certification as a coffee roaster or substantial proven experience in coffee roasting.

Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, particularly Indonesian coffee green beans.

Ability to create and maintain roast profiles.

Precise palate for coffee tasting, with the ability to distinguish specific flavors and consistency.

Excellent understanding of coffee roasting machines, including proper operation and maintenance.

A strong focus on quality and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently and plan work schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in a related field (Biology, Food Science, etc.)

Experience in the specialty coffee industry, specifically with Indonesian coffee.

Roast Master, Barista skills and experience.

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
