**Title**: Trusteeship Coordinator

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Salary**:$35,500/year to $39,500/year

**Languages**:English

**Education**:College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience. Financial knowledge and training an asset.

The Trusteeship Program Coordinator will be responsible to support participants by providing money management assistance to facilitate an improved, independent lifestyle. This position is based in Amherst, however travel throughout Cumberland County is required.

**Activities include**:
Client identification; intake and assessment, (e.g. developing client assessment tools); case management; maintaining data for reporting purposes; continued education regarding relevant and current financial opportunities for low-income participants; ongoing familiarization with Provincial Acts that pertain to the program.

Identifying needs of the community and using partnerships to meet those needs. Advocating with clients for financial services.

Community Development
- develop and implement community support and development initiatives to further the YMCA’s mission and vision. Build and foster community partnerships in the delivery of these initiatives which may include leading or participating on committees relevant to this position. Participating in coordinated access systems to ensure community collaboration. Facilitating other programming related to renter’s education, life skills, and housing related topics.

Other duties as required.
