**_This posting is for Auxiliary on Call positions; 2(two) positions at Copper Ridge Place and 2(two) positions at Whistle Bend Place_**
- Reporting to the Coordinator Food Services, this position is responsible for the provision of food services to the residents and staff in Continuing Care facilities; including the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, while maintaining a high standard of sanitation and safety in the kitchen and other related duties as required._

**_Essential Qualifications_**:

- Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. Please note selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume._
- _Journeyman Cook Certification (Red Seal)_
- _Recent experience preparing meals for individuals and/or groups in a commercial or Institutional setting (such as hotel, restaurant, camp, catering or cafeteria setting_ (fast food restaurant not included)**_Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability_**:

- _Knowledge of food preparation, serving and storage (Food safe)_
- _Ability to understand written and oral instructions_
- _Ability to work in a team environment_
- _Self-motivated and adaptable to change_

**_Additional Information:_**
**_Conditions of Employment:_**_ _TB screening, RCMP security clearance with Vulnerable Sector, Food Safe Level 1 (completed within the last two years), WHMIS 2015_
**_Job Requirements_**_:_**_ Exposure to animals in the Pet Therapy program, exposure to plants and/or flowers and/or second-hand smoke, exposure to latex products, shift work and weekends, heavy lifting and bending._
