**Job Summary (purpose of job, what is done, how)**:
A primary responsibility is completion of daily work lists and logs
Mixer Lead Hand is responsible for the oversight of preparation of the mixes for Baker Street cakes, pies, fillings, mousses and other baked products
Mixer Lead Hand ensures that all cup weights, temperatures, yields are recorded on all mixes
Mixer Lead must ensure that products are manufactured according to Baker Street recipes
Mixer Lead Hand ensures that his/her team maintains Baker Street and BRC standards
Mixer Lead Hand communicates back to his/her team after each Line Leader meeting
Work stations for Mixer Lead Hand include: Mixers, Mise En Place (prep)
Mixer Lead Hand takes initiative in scheduling, organizing, and reporting any irregularities
**Working Conditions (physical requirements, hours, travel, other)**:
- Requirement to stand, etc. for long periods of time, in extreme cold and hot temperature settings
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Ensure work station hygiene, tidiness and cleanliness, in accordance with GMP training
Ensure preparation of quality products, according to recipes and product specifications, per the Quality Master system
Identify and report rejected material to the Production Supervisor
Complete accurate daily production reports with quantities, lot codes and related information, per HACCP requirements
Ensure HACCP, GMP and safety requirements are followed by everyone working on the line
Provide OTJ workstation training
Ensure station teams work cooperatively to maintain pace of production
Communicate clearly and professionally with team to manage production interruptions, changing priorities and multiple demands
Communicate accurately to other departments for prompt corrective actions
Provide input on performance reviews for team members, as requested
Escalate questions, concerns or suggestions to the Supervisor, as necessary
Other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
