**About Us**

We are currently hiring for the following positions:
**Full time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist**

We are a busy 7 doctor clinic in Port Coquitlam, BC. We are open Monday - Saturday 8AM - 6PM. The current shifts we are looking to fill are 8-10 hour shifts, **you will need to be able to work Friday and Saturday shifts** **ongoing.**
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect client information, update records, and ensure accuracy of patient files
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks as needed
- Confirming, filling and inventory maintenance of non-controlled prescriptions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
- Have a matured empathy and understanding for end of life support

**Qualifications**
- Graduate of a VOA Certificate Program/Equivalent Experience considered
- Computer program proficiency/Typing Skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner with the ability to be independent is vital
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in loud conditions
- Minimum two years customer service experience

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- VOA Certificate from local college (preferred)
