**Your Opportunity**
- The duties and responsibilities of a Vocational Instructor include continuing excellence in one’s field, instructional and professional duties, professional development and service.**Functions and Duties**
- Instructional duties may include any or all of the following: instructional (teaching assignments); course and program preparation and revision; practicum placement; student contact; student advising; evaluation and marking of student work and other functions related to instruction.
- Professional duties may include any or all of the following: curriculum development, student registration and pre registration duties.- Service may include any or all of the following: school visitations; participation on OC committees; attendance at articulation meetings; representing OC at other function; administrative and other duties**Education and Experience**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field. An Instructor’s Diploma or valid BC Teacher’s Certificate appropriate to the instructional assignment is preferred, and will be required following appointment in accordance with the Collective Agreement. **Annual Salary/Hourly Rate**
- Salary range $68,385 to $109,584 annually; normal starting salary between $75,073 and $81,760 annually, dependent on relevant education and experience**Appointment Type**
