**Position Title**: Y MIND Program Facilitator

**Position Status**: Part-Time, Contract; 3-6 hours per week until March 31, 2024

**Compensation**: $25.00 per hour

**Start Date**: January 2, 2024

**Location**: Community Y

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Facilitators are required to have either a Masters degree in mental health or Counselling related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education (i.e.. BSW and 3 years' experience in the field). If you have questions about the experience of your facilitators, please reach out directly
- Experience working with young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety specifically, 13 to 18- year-olds for teen facilitators and 18 to 30-year-olds for youth facilitators
- Minimum of 2 years experience conducting intakes and assessments
- Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health needs beyond the mild to moderate spectrum and provide referrals to appropriate medical and community agencies
- Experience facilitating mental wellness groups or workshops
- Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions; effective prioritizing and problem
- solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
- High degree of independence and initiative within a team environment
