**THE POSITION**:
The MRO Buyer fuels operations one bolt at a time. This individual is extremely organized and passionate about streamlining supply chain processes. Juggling multiple priorities while finding the best value for hard to source items gives you satisfaction. We are looking for a skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ready to play a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring essential supplies to keep our operations running.

**HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT**:

- Source and procure MRO supplies ensuring quality, availability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs.
- Provide and implement solutions for process improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and review min/max levels.
- Coordinate delivery of materials with receiving department.
- Resolve discrepancies between receiving, purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor deliveries and expedite when required.
- Assist in all other department duties as required.

**WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE**:

- Minimum of 3 years of indirect procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and negotiation skills.
- High ethical standards and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, and purchasing and resource planning systems.
- Work well under pressure and under tight timelines.
