THIS IS AN INTERNAL POSITION AVAILABLE TO TOLKO ATHABASCA DIVISION EMPLOYEES ONLY_

**Position Overview**:
Apprentices will learn and work alongside our journeypersons in the Electrical Department.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a Journeyperson Electrician or a 3rd Class Power Engineer
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Pre apprenticeship testing is required for all applicants
- Ability to pass apprenticeship entrance exam
- Knowledge on programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems is considered an asset
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and electronics systems is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist other departments
