**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:

- As the Leadership Development Manager, Retail, you will partner with the Retail Training team to integrate our cultural and leadership development programming into the learning journey of our Retail employees. You will be accountable for the customization of the content and offerings to meet the needs of the Retail business and support our long-term and short-term objectives in support of the strategic direction of Arc’teryx. Ultimately, your work will contribute to build our leadership pipeline to fuel our Retail and overall business growth.
- This role is based out of our North Vancouver office (expected hours of work centred on PST) and may be hired remote. If remote, travel to Vancouver is required approximately, once per quarter and travel to our store locations periodically.

**If you were in the Leadership Development Manager, Retail role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Partnering with the Senior Manager, Training Delivery, and Managers, Retail Training Programs in the creation and implementation of innovative adult learning practices to training and experiences to activate our Arc’teryx Leadership Code in our Retail business bring innovative adult learning practices and
- Owning the integration of our leadership development offerings into the Retail Training journey
- Leading the culture evolution to support our Retail team’s development of self-leadership practices, namely Vision & Goals, personal Responsibility, Resilience, and Feedback
- Managing the reporting and evaluating of our Retail-centred leadership development initiatives.
- Leveraging existing workshops and learning resources to support consistency in a shared language around leadership at Arc’teryx
- Utilizing our technology-enabled solutions to create scalable, transformational, behaviour-changing experiences for our Retail employees at all levels
- Operating as a key member of the Learning and Development team to build deep partnerships between our People and Culture department and our Retail Leadership teams
- Partnering with internal and external Subject Matter Experts, such as our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Team, to design and deliver training solutions aligned with Retail’s training approach
- Supporting Retail leaders in building development plans for themselves and their team members
- Facilitating learning experiences, in partnership with Retail Training

- Leading the planning, implementing, and evaluating of our cultural evolution to bring Vision and Goals to life in Retail
- Building and delivering leader pipeline programming, such as the Retail Training Initiative
- Coaching Retail leaders on assessing talent with the cadence of the Talent Beta
- Championing the utilization of blended learning solutions, in particular, leveraging our Learning Management System, BIRDu, to support functional skills/knowledge learning objectives and on-going leadership development

**Are you our next Leadership Development Manager, Retail?**:

- You have a post-secondary education in Business, HR Management, or other relevant field
- You have 6+ years of progressive Learning and Development experience in a global, high growth vertical retail environment
- You have a proven ability to build trust and cross-functional relationships across all levels of the business
- You have strong business acumen, and the ability to quickly understand business strategy and connect it to people strategy
- You have demonstrated facilitating and coaching skills and are experienced in providing strategic guidance to all levels of leadership across the business
- You have strong influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes that support individuals, teams, and the business
- You are a team-player and enjoy high-levels of collaboration
- You are a strong verbal and written communicator
- You are motivated by a high-paced environment
