**IT Technician**

Maverick Gardner Information Technologies & Solutions Inc. is seeking a full-time, technically inclined individual to provide direct end-user support & system management in a dynamic and diverse workplace in Newmarket, ON. By troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production systems, the IT Technician is responsible to maintain system health, network integrity, and support the business. As a primary point of contact for end-users
- asking the right question is key to understand and better serve our customers.

**Full-time/Permanent**
Compensation Range: $24-$27/hour + benefits

**Responsibilities**:

- Prove direct IT support to business clients and their end-users.
- Support client's internal IT departments as needed to complete corporate projects and/or deadlines.
- Administer users in accordance with corporate policy within enterprise IT systems.
- (Re-)Imaging, Configuration, and Deployment of end-user systems.
- Ensure business-critical systems are maintained, online, and accessible for end-users from their desktop.
- Diagnose and Repair business software and hardware.
- Maintain network/communication infrastructure across the facility.
- Resolve logged helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Update computer systems and software in accordance with corporate policy.
- Install or upgrade IT hardware components as needed.

**Required Experience**:

- In-depth understanding of the anatomy of a PC.
- Demonstrated proficiency within Windows Server, Windows 7 & 10, Windows Admin Center, SCCM, and Microsoft Office 365 platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to create win/win solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with mínimal supervision

**Professional Skills**:

- Demonstrated creativity in complex problem-solving environment and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document incidents to ensure consistency and reliability when working with other IT Professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to create rapport with clients.

**Required Education or Certifications**
- Ability to obtain CGP (Controlled Goods Program) Clearance and/or Secret Clearance.
- Secondary School Diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, Information Technologies, or a combination of education and equivalent industry experience.

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- IT: 1 year (preferred)
