Calgary, Canada Creature Comforts Animal Clinic Full time

Creature Comforts Animal Clinic and House Call Service, located in Legacy SE, Calgary, is seeking a full/part time veterinary office receptionist/assistant. We are a busy, small, fear free, privately owned 1 doctor practice. Our clinic is opened Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, no in clinic weekends. Your role in our practice would include reception duties and assisting the doctor and technician. We will give you the ability to grow in your position and thrive in this field. Having experience in the industry is an asset but not a must.

**Requirements**:

- Generate invoices - process payments - create and maintain client files
- Ability to assist the technician, doctor, and receptionist with different areas of focus
- An individual who will be open to training and education
- Reception and store front procedures
- Preparing for surgeries and anesthetic procedures
- Kennel care for our patients
- Cleaning protocols for the facility
- Animal restraint - Fear Free Certification is a great opportunity grow in this field
- Time management
- Compassionate, nursing, and friendly attitude
- Great communication skills
