**Position Summary**:
Johnston Equipment is looking for a detail-oriented person who likes to keep meticulous records within a database. The Master Data Administrator will be responsible for all activities related to the administration and maintenance of customer data within our JD Edwards business system. The Master Data Administrator is responsible for all data entry activities related to the asset administration and maintenance of business system databases. You are critical in that you guarantee the integrity of the information in our business systems is current and communicated to other cross-functional database management personnel.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Accurately process requests for database changes in JDE and Raymond SAP/CRM Systems (additions, deletions, changes).
- Ensure data adheres to established standards and requirements, i.e. with approval, prior to entry into the database.
- Ensure validity of data being entered, investigate and correct any incorrect data that is being requested to be added
- Ensure process requests are coordinated across all related databases within JDE and Raymond systems.
- Maintain integrity of databases through review and validation.
- Effectively use issue tracking program (track it) to ensure completion of request submissions and communication to requestor.
- Serves as a technical resource and provides technical support and guidance in the investigation, analysis and resolution of database problems.
- Provides and runs reports as required.
- Ensure data adheres to established standards and requirements prior to entry into database
- Work with other Database teams to move/change/add/etc. equipment contract relationships
- Clean irrelevant data out of JDE/SAP (Remove scrap units, customer moves and specification updates)
- Audit requests to ensure approvals meet company policies prior to implementing changes in data,
- Answer inquiries and serve as a technical support in the investigation and resolution of database issues, and
- Communicate with appropriate department to achieve the completion of daily tasks and special projects
**What You’ll Bring to the Table**
- Strong Excell skills comfortable using formulaes, Vlookup and pivot table
- Strong data entry skills and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong keyboarding skills and speed are required to manage the volume of work.
- Experience working in an accounting department
- Strong internal and external communication skills required
- Proven customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
- Ability to stay focus on tasks, particularly with competing priorities while meeting multiple deadlines
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

**Education**:
- Intermediate Level Microsoft Excel Skill is required

- Post-Secondary Education, Some Related Post-Secondary Education is required
