Clean Harbors in **Brampton, ON** is looking for a **CleanPack Chemist **to join their safety conscious team You will be responsible for picking up, identifying, segregating and packing waste materials from customer sites such as hospitals and refineries. A Chemistry background is a requirement for this position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Pick up waste from customers in the Brampton and GTA.
- Ensures the proper utilization of equipment and operates the vehicle in accordance with all Transport Canada and Ministry of the Environment regulations.
- Responsible for collecting, identifying and packaging hazardous/non-hazardous waste produced within the customer facilities and preparing shipping documents.

**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
- ** Background and Knowledge in the area of Chemistry is required.**:

- A Class **DZ License** or** AZ License** would be an asset, but willing to train.
- Previous lab packing experience preferred.
- Ability to manually load and unload truck.
- Previous experience in hazardous material handling is an asset.
- Experience with TDG and O. Reg 347 is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment with great attention to detail.
