**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

In the position of Lab Technician, you will be responsible for duties including but not limited to QA/QC Testing on Performance Graded Asphalt and Asphalt Emulsion relative to local specifications and performances, Design hot and cold asphalt base product and any other road construction technique, Cleaning and maintaining the lab equipment and for associated data entry, paperwork filing and organisation, and Retention of sample inventory. You will also be responsible to operate in the laboratory by maintaining Health & Safety rules

**Shift Information**

Day Shift of 8 hours.

**Required Qualifications**
- Good stress management
- Good time management
- Gollege diploma;
- Being comfortable with Office(Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc...);
- High level of communication and correspondence;
- Speak, read and write in French fluently;
- Understanding of written English.

**Assets**:

- Knowledge in engineering specifically related to road construction;
- Experience in technical services, research and development or in the laboratory;
- Technical writing skills;
- Speak, read and write in English fluently.

**Principales tâches et responsabilités générales**:
Dans le poste de technicien de laboratoire, vous serez responsable des tâches, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, des tests d’Assurance Qualité (QA) et de Contrôle Qualité (QC) sur les bitumes et émulsions de bitume suivant les spécifications et classifications de performances locales, la conception de produits bitumineux à chaud, à froid et de toute autre technique relative à la construction routière, le nettoyage et l'entretien du laboratoire, de la calibration des équipements, la saisie de données associées à l’activité dans nos systèmes, le classement et l'organisation des documents, la conservation de l'inventaire des échantillons. Des tâches spécifiques pourront vous être attribuées au besoin. Vous serez également responsable d’opérer dans le laboratoire en maintenant les règles de santé et sécurité. À des fins de formations professionnels, vous serez amené à vous déplacer sur nos opérations, des chantiers ou des séminaires et congrès.

Quart de jour d'une durée de 8 heures.

**Qualifications requises**:

- Bonne gestion du stress
- Bonne gestion du temps
- Diplôme d'Études Collégiales
- Être à l'aise avec la suite Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc...)
- Niveau élevé de communication et de correspondance.
- Parler, lire et écrire en Français fluidement.
- Compréhension de l’anglais écrit.

**Atouts**:

- Connaissance dans les principes d'ingénierie en construction routière
- Diplôme d'études collégiales scientifique ou technique ;
- Expérience dans les services techniques, la recherche et le développement ou
