Beach / Marina Student

The City of Port Colborne is seeking energetic and dedicated individuals who would like to join our team as a Summer Student for the Beach and Marina

Nickel Beach is a popular location for Port Colborne residents and visitors throughout the summer. We have openings here for beach attendants, who would be responsible for assisting with the operation of the beach and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all visitors. This position works primarily outdoors providing customer service, beach maintenance and clean-up.

Sugarloaf Marina has over 700 slips available for guest and seasonal boaters and provides a range of amenities and services for customers. We have openings here for dock attendants, who assist customers with their needs when they arrive as well as throughout their stay, allowing visitors of Port Colborne to experience the range of activities and amenities the city has to offer. This position works primarily outdoors providing customer service, marina maintenance and clean-up.

**Requirements**:
Applicants must:

- Have a valid Class G or G2 Ontario Driver’s License, proof upon request.
- Be available for full-time work as soon as possible until Labour Day 2023.
- Be a full-time student enrolled for September 2023 (Fall Term), proof upon request.
- Be available to work flexible hours - days, afternoons, weekends, statutory holidays and special events.
- Be comfortable working outdoors.

Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
