**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**:
- Partnering with co-op and practicum programs for high school and university students. This includes building relationship with institutions, career centres, and faculty representatives
- Identifying recruitment and selection issues and developing proactive solutions
- Assisting and implementing recruitment strategies; out of box thinking
- Coordinating and representing the company at career fairs and other events; engaging the public and promoting brand awareness
- Proactively recruiting, sourcing and engaging with high caliber talent
- Exploring HR and industry best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve systems and processes
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Attend and assist in coordinating company events which is a huge part of the Para Space culture and retention
- Coordinate employee contests, content for our Friday newsletter “Para Verse”, surveys, and more that have a direct impact on culture
- You may be involved with other miscellaneous tasks/projects as required
**What you need to be successful**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with MS Office, ATS and HRIS. Comfortable with spreadsheets/data analysis
- General knowledge of the BC Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, BC Labour Code, Labour Relations etc.
- Ability to meet weekly recruitment quotas
- Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong business correspondence writing skills
- Positive and professional team attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management/organizational skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain talent pools
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines
- Awareness of the current labour market and demonstrated skills at developing recruitment strategies that support business requirements
**What Para Space offers you**:
