Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Responsibilities: - Install new irrigation systems according to design plans - Dig trenches and lay pipes for irrigation system installation - Connect irrigation system components, including valves, sprinkler heads, and control panels - Test and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning - Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, such as leaks or clogged sprinkler heads - Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems, including cleaning filters and adjusting water pressure - Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly - Collaborate with landscape maintenance team to ensure proper watering of plants, trees, and gardens Requirements: - Previous experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools and hand tools - Familiarity with different types of irrigation systems, including drip systems and sprinkler systems - Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and plant watering requirements - Ability to work independently and efficiently in various weather conditions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients Note: This is a paid position.

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
