**Human Resources - Payroll and Benefits Administrator**

**Carman or Portage Administration Offices**

**Part Time - 24 hours per week with benefits**

**Description**:
Homestead Co-op is hiring a part time Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Administrator. This position can be based out of either our Carman or Portage administration offices, depending on your location.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the HR Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Payroll administration - administer bi-weekly payroll, enter, maintain and secure records and documentation, using our payroll programs, resource for all payroll and benefits questions and concerns, manage all accounts related to payroll.
- Benefits - administrate the benefits program, record, and provide updates as required, including the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).
- File maintenance - maintain employee records.
- Assist in the administrative tasks for: SiteDocs (Safety Program), uniform inventory,
- Maintain programs for Absenteeism, Referrals, and Vacation
- Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) - comply with the CBA agreements when administering payroll and benefits.
- Reporting - Provide/run reports as requested for managers and the HR Advisors and Manager
- Answering inquiries - regarding HR, our CBA’s, Labour Standards, payroll, benefits, and other numerous topics.
- This position will also provide backup duties to help the department during vacations or other absences.
- This position will promote employee engagement, wellness, and provide exemplary services to employees of Homestead Co-op and the leadership team.
