**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Fashion Design or other relevant certification in garment construction/ draping techniques
- 10+ years experience in patternmaking & draping; Eveningwear and/or bridal experience preferred
- Strong garment construction knowledge
- Knowledge in high-end garment finishes.
- Experience with fitting procedures, fitting corrections, grading
- Attention to details and precision
- Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure when required
- Able to effectively communicate in a professional manner
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Problem solver
- Positive, proactive and productive approach
- Open minded and able to adapt

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the company creative following design sketches to create seasonal patterns for our evening wear collection;
- Manage workflow of atelier sample maker;
- Supervise sample maker and share instructions for sewing of prototypes;
- Create markers & cut fabric for prototypes;
- Participate in fittings, take detailed notes and make necessary garment corrections;
- Enter detailed information for Sample and Production specification sheets;
- Measurement and analysis of pre-shipment production pieces;
- Approval of grading charts;
- Daily communication and follow-up with factories;
- Creation of seasonal swatch cards;
- Participate and help with seasonal photoshoots;

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
