The Multimedia Audio Producer will be responsible for creating advertisements, music beds and other materials to go on-air. This position will work in collaboration with the Station Manager, Marketing Director, and Advertising & Promotions Coordinator to create entertaining, informative, and professional advertisements.

The Multimedia Audio Producer will be responsible for recording scripts provided by the Marketing Director. They will be responsible for the creative integration of music, sound effects, and vocal techniques to create advertisements which meet the needs of businesses, organizations, and listeners. This position will also have the opportunity to create original music beds to be included in advertisements and radio station IDs. They will complete their tasks in the station’s recording studio using industry-standard Pro Tools audio workstation software along with high-end analog hardware (mixing console, microphones, and outboard processing). By producing advertisements for local businesses, this employee will have a valuable role in informing listeners about cultural and community events. This position may also record and mix audio for live-to-air performances, getting the opportunity to communicate with local talent, gain technical audio production skills, and archive important moments in London’s musical history. Furthermore, they may also instruct and mentor available volunteers in the process, allowing them to use their leadership and collaborative skills. Ultimately, this Production role suits a creative individual who seeks to gain proficiency in audio editing and mixing technologies while working in a collaborative environment.

Please Note: This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs; therefore, the applicant must be between the ages of 15-30.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Advertising & Promotions Coordinator to produce engaging and high-quality advertisements and radio station IDs with scripts provided by the Marketing Director.
- Guide and collaborate with volunteers in recording, editing, and mixing, utilizing leadership and teamwork skills.
- Utilize industry-standard equipment and audio editing software to create original music beds for use in advertisements.
- Produce a variety of content, contributing to the promotion of cultural and community events.
- Record, edit, mix and master audio for live-to-air performances.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in radio or media industry is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MacOS, Pro Tools and Apple Pro Apps
- Reliable transportation to Western University

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $19.00 per hour
