Job Purpose & Scope
Rockwool is looking for an energetic employee, to join the Finance Department as a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst provides analytic support to the sales and marketing organizations by generating and maintaining business metric reports for use in sales analysis, customer presentations, pricing, margin and customer profitability. The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.

- Track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations for a positive impact.
- Effective relationships with all key stakeholders, including internal and external customers.
- Develop innovative products, processes, ideas and solutions.
- Provide clear, honest and useful feedback to others.
Key Responsibilities & Job Content
- Assist Business Unit Leaders in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/or programs to support the business unit’s goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
- Work closely with business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information to improve product, service and/or program business processes.
- Develop effective reporting tools for the business units.
- Analyse the business unit’s activities and trends and compare analyses against the service standards and best practices. Present findings and works with the Business Unit Leaders and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
- Prepare routine reports.
- Analyse trends and recommend adjustments to address and/or capitalize on those trends.
- Provide Sales Reports (monthly sales analysis, volume analysis by segment/product, monthly regional reports, product/category margin, monthly buying group reports, market share, customer profitability).
- Participate in quarterly budgeting process and leading the weekly forecast process.
- Prepare Box Store POS Dashboards.
- Analyse pricing and maintain a competitive pricing database to support sales teams when contemplating changes. Provide data to support price increases and develop pricing strategy.
- Responsible for the entire process of customer rebate agreements, analysing potential, strategic structuring of agreements, and properly accrue.
- Responsible for reporting of weekly sales forecasts and monthly sales price development to Group.
- Analyse profitability by region/customer/product. Lead regional meetings to discuss future strategies.
- Assisting other Rockwool companies (Grodan etc.), with sales reports and analytics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Professional Skills & Personal Competencies
- Solid theoretical understanding from a University/College degree within Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Science or similar. CPA is a great asset, but not a requirement.
- Experience working with business systems like SAP.
- Quick learner within business intelligence software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Structured and energetic.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player, focusing on common goals.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Bilingualism is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
