**Lumea **is a state-of-the-art surgical centre performing refractive and premium cataract procedures.

We are currently seeking a part time **Patient Counsellor** to join our team.

**Job Duties**
- Provides a clear channel of communication and coordination to all doctors, staff, patients, vendors & referring physicians
- Is warm, caring & provides excellent patient experiences at all times
- Ensures standard operating procedures in the clinic are adhered to at all times
- Performs all duties relating to patient education in a professional, knowledgeable fashion
- Keeps a strong pulse & knowledge based on procedures & technology offered at the clinic
- Advises the clinic manager of deficiencies that may exist & strategizes on continuous improvement plans
- Corresponds professionally & knowledgeably with referring doctors
- Completes all tasks in a timely & accurate manner with great attention to detail
- Performs diagnostic testing as required during the consultation process
- Supports peers within the clinic to promote a strong team environment

**Experience**

Previous experience in an ophthalmology clinic or relevant role is an asset, however outstanding individuals who possess strong relevant skills will be considered.

**Education **Minimum Grade 12 minimum

Remuneration will be based on skill set and experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
