Rvt, Ophthalmology

**Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre** is welcoming a full-time **Veterinary Technologist, RVT**, to join our team in the **Ophthalmology** department.
- RVT’s with a minimum of 1-year experience as a tech in a small animal or mixed animal practice.
- Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
- Sedation/anesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery.
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their families.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
- Passion to learn more within the role.
- A love for all companion animals

**Schedule**: Tuesday - Friday from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.
