**Qualifications include**:

- Completion of Grade 12 and Canadian Payroll Association courses;
- Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification (PCP) would be considered an asset;
- A minimum two years’ experience in payroll administration;
- Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, and procedures employed in the preparation and processing of payrolls;
- Level one or two accounting courses would be considered an asset;
- Able to multi-task and deliver under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Ability to work effectively as a team with strong interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate courteously and effectively in writing, in person and on the telephone;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in working with employee information.
