SHIFT TIMINGS - 2pm-10:30pm

Summary
- To assist with all receiving, processing, shipping, returns and inventory operations in the Distribution Centre: unloading/loading by Powered MHE and/or by hand, lifting, scanning, sorting, picking, packing, labelling and checking stock as required. To ensure the Distribution Centre operates with optimum precision and efficiency. Working within all areas of the warehouse depending on the business requirement: Receiving, Processing, Shipping, Inventory Control and Returns.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS
- Work under supervision and direction of department Supervisor and team lead
- Help to efficiently carry out all Distribution Centre tasks with the use of Powered MHE
- Follow all policies and procedures related to powered equipment, including inspections, safety checks, routine maintenance and training
- Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders
- Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents
- Inspect receivables for defects, damages or missing items
- Properly scan and inventory incoming goods
- Perform detailed manual inventory counts as required
- Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval
- Pick, prepare, package and label goods for shipment
- Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders
- Load and unload product to and from trailers and containers by using Powered MHEs and/or manually
- Keep workplace clean and tidy (general housekeeping)
- Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management
- Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations at all times
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
- Work with other Distribution Centre team members to effectively complete assigned tasks
- Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability and certification to operate Powered MHEs i.e. Order Picker, Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Clamp Truck, walkie rider and Forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow precise verbal and written instructions
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and receive instruction and directions in English
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

$23.00 an hour
