**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform embalming, dressing, and decedent preparation, adhering to professional and legal standards.
- Ensure proper identification of decedents and maintain accurate documentation, including embalming reports and logs.
- Maintain the preparation room, including inventory management, sanitation, and equipment organization.
- Assist with the transfer of decedents from the place of death, crematorium, or other locations.
- Provide guidance and support to families, respecting their cultural and personal preferences.
- Support funeral services, ensuring smooth and respectful operations, as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all ethical, legal, and safety requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Ontario Funeral Director's Class 1 licence
- Two years of embalming experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Knowledge of funeral home procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
