Pet Groomer

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our busy team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. If you have a passion for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, while also we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' fur according to client preferences and breed standards
- Provide nail trims and ear cleaning
- Assess the overall health of pets and report any abnormalities or concerns to pet owners
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Interact with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and provide exceptional customer service

**Skills**:

- Proficient in various grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs. The ability to groom cats is not required but preferred and considered a signifgant asset.
- Knowledgeable about pet anatomy, health issues, and breed-specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Strong attention to detail to achieve precise cuts and styles
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs, up to 50 pounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed

**Payment**:
The Pay structure is that you get paid from each pet you groom and you can take up to 50% of the clients payment and the store takes the other 50%.

DISCLAIMER: Pay structure and salary is commission based and largely depends on the prospective groomers skill/experience. The exact salary details will be discussed in your interview with shop management.
