We are currently looking for a Journeyman Carpenter to fill our **Siding Forman position in Telegraph Cove, BC**. We need someone who can work with mínimal oversight, be efficient and safe. A hard worker in a fast-paced, growing, and changing environment.

**What the job entails**:

- Install hardy plank siding (board and batten/ shingles), and cladding materials according to specifications
- Measure, cut, and fit materials for installation
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
- Problem solve and implement solutions for on-site issues
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Communicate foreseeable problems while proactively problem solving
- General construction tasks as assigned
- Guidance to general labourers
- If the schedule is falling, provide solutions in the workflow to increase field efficiency
- Manage and distribute Materials
- Assist subtrades and other employees when needed

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in siding and cladding installation
- Multiple years of carpentry and construction experience
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment safely and proficiently
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Safety conscious

- Maintains a high standard of quality
- Innovative and solution-orientated
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed

Salary Range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour depending on experience.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (required)
- Siding: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
