Summer Worker

Join our dynamic craft brewery team this summer We are passionate about crafting high-quality brews using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices. Located on a beautiful farm setting, our brewery offers a unique opportunity to experience various aspects of brewery operations, from front of house customer interactions to hands-on farm work and kitchen assistance.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time youth (between the ages of 18-30) to join our team. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in multiple areas of our operation, including front of house duties, assisting with farm work, and providing support in the kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front of House**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about our brewery, products, and events.
- Operate Point of Sale, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and organized retail space.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and rotating merchandise.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience.

**Farm Work**
- Assist with various farm activities such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and general maintenance.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of farm equipment and tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on the farm.
- Participate in farm-related projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the operation.

**Kitchen Help**
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Ensure that food handling and storage procedures are followed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Always adhere to proper food handling and hygiene standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Interest in craft beer, sustainable agriculture, and/or culinary arts is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, farming, or kitchen operations is an asset but not required.
- Must be able to serve alcohol.
- Ability to travel to and from work as Brewery is not on a transit route.

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
