Direct Support Professional, Overnight Awake

The Direct Support Professional's role is to ensure the safety and security of people they support through the duration of their shift. They will works as part of a team in problem solving and ensuring the smooth operation of the home and support people’s personal goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care routines
- Help with meal preparation
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' health or behaviour

Qualifications:

- Previous experience supporting people who have an intellectual disability is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent

**Salary**: $22.11-$23.61 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
