**Position Summary... **:To administer the store people practices and processes in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. The Personnel Manager is a Cultural Champion within the Store, provides Dedicated People Support, informs on a large breadth of Administrative and Compliance functions, and supports the implementation and ongoing success of our Self Serve Enablement processes.

**What you'll do... **:1. Acts as a Cultural Champion in store to ensure all people celebrations and events are coordinated (i.e. WIR events, SIP celebrations, Cultural Awareness Events, Holiday Celebrations, Charity Committee, etc.). Ensures all communication boards are up to date and current with all people program information, benefits, and supporting resources. 2. Champions the This is that place initiative - Associate Promise initiatives, recognition activities. Acts as a first line of contact for open door concerns, as well as inform Associates on policies, practices, and programs, as well as benefits and pay. 3. Co-facilitates Orientations; Provides support to organize Grass Roots and AES activities, to ensure associates have an opportunity to attend meetings and complete surveys. 4. Co-ordinates recruitment planning for key seasons with management team by monitoring headcount guidelines; Communicates all benefits re-enrolment activities and directs associates to Walmart Benefits Centre for questions and support. 5. Responsible to ensure associates enroll in Direct Deposit Paperless Pay on Orientation Day.; Supports management by monitoring and reviewing attendance reports. Completes "We Care Calls" for reported absences, and assists in calling associates to replace critical shifts as defined by the management team. 6. Request ROE for associates on Leave of Absence and when loss of earnings begins. Assists associates with completing time clock edits, GTA processes and self-serve tasks as required. 7. Reviews and monitors GTA exception reports to identify and provide management with information regarding associates not taking lunches, punching in late / leaving early, experiencing regular punching errors or working long shifts for management follow-up; Prints approved weekly schedules and ensures they are posted. Files completed schedules in 52 Week File; Coordinates new associate training and ensures associates changing jobs complete required training. Assists Store Manager with planning for and enrolling management into required training programs. 8. Training and directing daily activities of the Back-Up Personnel Associate. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
