Position Responsibilities:

- Support the F&B Manager in overseeing all facets of the club's food and beverage operations, ensuring the maintenance of our exceptional service standards and member satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the F&B Manager to elevate the club's dining experience, providing valuable input on menu offerings, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and member events or special initiatives.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the club's wine program, including selection, inventory management, and staff training initiatives.
- Curate and manage our extensive wine list, considering a diverse range of regions, vintages, and styles.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to develop wine pairings that complement the menu offerings and contribute to increased sales.
- Offer personalized wine recommendations and educate members on various wines, regions, and flavor profiles.
- Ensure proper storage and inventory management of beverages.
- Remain updated on industry trends, new wine releases, and emerging wine regions.
- Foster relationships with wine distributors and participate in wine events to expand knowledge and network connections.
- Provide training and guidance to service staff on wine service techniques and product knowledge.
- Supervise and train F&B staff, ensuring consistent adherence to service standards and club policies.
- Assist in managing the club's budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of special events, private functions, and member activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address member feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts.
- Maintain open communication with Food and Beverage Management regarding all operational aspects.
- Ensure all menus are accurate and up to date.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.
- A strong passion for wine and extensive knowledge of different varietals, regions, and food pairings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with members, staff, and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification from a recognized sommelier program is preferred.
- Must possess reliable transportation as public transportation is not available.
- Must be eligible to legally work in Canada.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
