**Purpose of the Department Function**

Ensuring the laboratory’s efficiency and improving work methods.

**Description of the Role**

The main requirement of the role is ensuring the laboratory’s efficiency and improving work methods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute different mechanical, chemical and physical testing on materials and evaluate their performance against internal or external specifications.
- Support on tasks related to the R&D, such as producing, expanding and finishing embryos. Gather and report data under various forms as requested.
- Plan and execute required tests by technical services regarding composite materials transformation or their characteristics.
- Analyze data and write a summary analysis (technical report) as required. Communicate results and offer comprehension support.
- Validate equipment’s conformity and integrity.
- Manage the consumables and chemical products’ inventory. Dispose of them in accordance with established standards.
- Prepare and improve work related procedures.

**Skills and Experience**

Functional requirements

Professional skills
- Computer literacy (Office Suite)

Working Experience (years in same function/area)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in laboratory work.

Leadership skills
- Strong communication skills

Education
- GED (Sec. V) combined with professional experience in Laboratory (mechanical or chemical) OR College degree in Analytical Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering, or Composite Materials Transformation
