Our Winter Groundskeepers love being outdoors in all weathers, ensuring our properties are safe and clear from snow and ice, while maintaining a welcoming appearance for guests.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Remove all snow and ice from all walkways and driveways.
- Regularly checking outdoor areas to find potential hazards and monitor snow conditions.
- Salt and grit outdoor areas to keep them safe for guests and staff.
- Pick up and remove litter and garbage from outside areas like corridors, courtyards, and sidewalks.
- Ensure both indoor and outdoor areas are safe and well-maintained.
- Be prepared for duties to change with the seasons. Work safely by following health and safety rules, and report any injuries or hazards right away.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.

**Skills and Experience**:

- This is a seasonal position for the winter months, with the chance to extend for the right person.
- You must have an Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or an International Driving license.
- Experience driving in snowy conditions is helpful.
- You need to be physically fit, as this job involves bending, lifting, and continuous snow and ice removal.
- Be a self-starter who can work with little supervision.
- Show energy and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Pay attention to detail and take pride in your work area.
- Be flexible to work on weekends and holidays when needed.
