Serving in the Ajax and surrounding GTA area for over 16 years Sklar Peppler Home has a excellent reputation in the community. We are a custom furniture manufacturer with an over 35,000sq foot showroom with lots of options for our customers.

We are seeking part time warehouse help for our Ajax showroom. You will be required to always maintain a professional friendly attitude as you will occasionally be customer facing. Day to day the role will require the movement of furniture both in the warehouse and on the showroom floor. You will report directly to our Warehouse manager for daily tasks.

Job Requirements:

- Professional, friendly attitude
- Customer service driven
- Capable of lifting a min of 50lbs
- Physically demanding position
- Pick/wrap furniture
- Assist in customer pick ups
- Loading and unloading trucks safely
- Minor furniture assembly
- Minor cleaning duties
- Other warehouse/showroom duties as required
- Warehouse experience an assist
- Must speak fluent English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ajax, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
