- Responsibilities:_
- Responsible for team member’s direct supervision and, with HR support, includes scheduling, time-off requests, development, discipline, etc.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance team
- Manage the team’s workload and assigns work as required to all direct reports
- Address all department quality issues or concerns for all assigned work and repairs
- Manage and support members of the team, and ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Manages, coaches, and provides positive feedback and areas for improvement to all direct reports
- Ensure all team members adhere to all SyBridge standards
- Oversee all Machine and Equipment Repair for the locations assigned
- Organize jobs, provide costing, and ensure follow up on job requests
- Work with suppliers for the timely receipt of necessary parts and equipment
- Schedule preventative maintenance and machine repairs
- Ensure the team places focus on machine cleanliness
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs.
- Qualifications:_
- Millwright or Electrical license, High school diploma, or equivalent is required.
- Six (6) years of related experience managing a Maintenance Department;
- Six (6) years’ experience working in a related capacity
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
- Ability to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Proficient in time management and communication skills
