Position: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Type: Full Time
Location: Fort McKay, Head Office
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, Alternating Friday

**Role Summary**:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the marketing and communications activities of an organization. This position involves a combination of marketing, public relations, and administrative responsibilities. The coordinator collaborates with various teams to develop and execute marketing strategies, enhance brand visibility, and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Internal & External Communications_
- Provide communications support for internal company messages, intranet posts, and important announcements.
- Coordinate and support internal communications to ensure adherence to Bouchier’s brand guidelines.
- Support the development of corporate brochures, presentations, and other visual materials with overall accountability to ensure corporate presentation templates are current, accurate and functional.
- Support Bouchier’s community investment program including events and sponsorships in the places we work and live.
- Assist in the creation and execution of communications plans.
- Intranet Platform_
- Champion Bouchier’s intranet ensuring it remains the go-to place for news, important documents, and offers engagement for all employees.
- Research, interview, and produce content and work closely with other functional teams to share stories and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Seek continuous improvement on our intranet platform including providing training and support to team members, driving employee engagement and Bouchier’s culture.
- Digital Media _
- Provide monthly analytics reporting to the Marketing & Communications team and look for creative ideas to drive social engagement.
- Content development & story telling
- curation/development and distribution of our brand assets and story including our team. Drafting content for print and digital platforms (social channels, website and press releases and/or stakeholder updates (internal and external).
- Collaborate with internal clients to complete communication projects to their specifications.
- Support the management team with presentations, campaigns, events, special projects, and development of communications materials where requested.
- Accountable for Stakeholder relations.
**Education & Experience**:
- Diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field. A suitable combination of other education combined with relevant work experience will be considered.
- Two to three years of experience in a corporate communications role.
- You have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- You have intermediate level knowledge Adobe Creative Cloud/Photoshop/Canva.
- Preference for experience in the energy, resource development, or related business sectors.
- You have experience with a modern social intranet.
- You have a strong understanding of social media platforms including analytics reporting.
- Experience with photography and/or videography is an asset.
- The ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.
