EHS Deputy

We are currently looking for an experienced & dynamic EHS Deputy to join the NAM Turnkey SIG & INFRA Health, Safety and Environment team.
This position includes office and field work with high frequency travel into the NAM region and low travel frequency outside NAM region.
You will directly support the NAM Turnkey, SIG & INFRA EHS Director to ensure EHS compliance on all TK sites and offices for both Alstom employees and contractors for all activities going from due diligence inspections, installation, train delivery, dynamic testing phases to transfer to service and maintenance.
Here are some examples of responsibilities and tasks that will be assigned to you:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support EHS Director
- Support and coach EHS Managers
- Contribute to maintain/elevate EHS culture.
- Manage the inspection program including creation of inspection checklists using Forms App, follow up on corrective actions & tracker, produce KPI, support and coach EHS Managers & Management.
- Support sites on any specific program (Prescription safety glasses program,...)
- Support sit on any specific system (Management of chemical on line software system, Teranga, EHS connect)
- Ensure all sites enter their data into the systems to produce lagging and leading indicators for monthly KPI.
- Prepare monthly toolbox for projects (12)
- 2 levels (EHS Manager/Team and general)
- Prepare bi-weekly safety communication.
- Communicate and mark annual special days (April 28, Earth Day,...)
- Dissemination of PSIRE training
- Dissemination of accident investigation training
- Support local Team for pre-screening, administrative compliance, and onboarding of contractors.
- Site Support & coaching for Accident Investigations, EHS connect, REX and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Ensure all data are input into EHS connect by EHS managers.
- Update generic prevention program & risk register for Turnkey projects.
- AZDP auditor with an objective of 2 official audits per year outside NAM TK projects
- Support project with self assessment audit.
- Support site on emergency readiness and annual emergency drills.
- Support EHS director for Monthly Team meeting.
- Support EHS director for annual EHS Team workshop.
- Support EHS director for annual campaign.
- Replace EHS TK Director during vacations and absence.
**Requested profile**:
- 8 years of experience
- Mandatory construction site experience
- Mandatory Rail experience
- Interest in administrative tasks as well as on-site presence
- Mastery of the Office Pack
- English and French required (Written and spoken)
- Experience and interest in document writing.
- Available to frequent travel.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Valid Passport required.
