**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Kratos Antenna Solutions is looking for an experienced pack assembler to assemble various large to mid-sized components and pack finished products in designated crates/boxes to customers’ specifications and company policy.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Measure and cut lumber per cut list using rotary, skill and jig saws.
- Construct crates and shipping skids for product according to specifications using nail and staple guns.
- Load large antenna components onto skids and into crates.
- Pack and secure items using lumber, packing foam and bubble wrap.
- Completes required job control, inventory and related reports (example: timecards)
- Maintains assigned work area and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Examine and inspect containers, materials and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials and place them in the staging area for shipping or quality inspection.
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations, and sorting
- Other assigned work as required

**Experience and Skills**:
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- At least 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mathematically inclined
- Experience with nail and staple guns, saws and hand tools.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to understand blueprints and other technical drawings
- Ability to understand bill or material and other technical drawings
- Certified forklift operator is an asset
- Familiarity with SAP software is an asset
- Ability to work in isolation or with a team
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
- Manual lifting of various weighted products may be occasionally required
- Use of personal protective equipment may be required
- Employee may be exposed to uncomfortable work settings; may have long combinations of standing, crouching, or sitting.
- Repetitive tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25-35 lbs
- Overtime as required.

**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**:

- 10-25% - May be required between locations
