Victoria, Canada Island Precision Manufacturing Ltd. Full time

Island Precision is an architectural millwork manufacturer and trade contractor specializing in large institutional and commercial projects. We are looking for 4 millwork installers for a high-profile project in Victoria.

Our scope of work is wood door frames, window liner, wall paneling, ceilings and custom millwork.

The project will start with a crew of 2 in January, ramp up to 4 in February, and run until the end of April.

Qualifications:

- Min 5years experience installing commercial millwork.
- Able to work with and interpret metric drawings..
- High regard for safety procedures, cleanliness and site guidelines.
- You look for continuous improvements and you always provide feedback.
- Can work under tight deadlines in a construction site environment.
- Have your own kit of standard installation tools (specialized equipment supplied by IPM).
- Must be healthy, have good stamina, dexterity and a strong back.
- Demonstrate a sensible balance of consistency, speed and attention to detail.
- Dependable, conscientious, and organized.

The position is supported by and reports to our site foreman.

We are open to hiring subcontractor crews, individuals or employees.

Rates will be negotiated in person and commensurate with your experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
