Tile Setter

We are looking for a skilled and experienced tile setter to join our team.

**Main duties**
- Cut, polish and install natural stone and slabs.
- Perform all tiling & stone installation duties.
- Prepare cut and install stone and tiles on surfaces
- Read blueprints & drawings to calculate materials as needed on our machines.
- Consult with management to plan and cut Granite, Quartz, Marble and other natural stones to the required size and set stones and install larger pieces as per client’s instructions.
- Use and operate machines including blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs and other stone products to specific shape and design and to produce a smooth finish.

**Terms of employment**:Full-time (40 hours/week), indeterminate.

Overtime as per BC labour laws after 40 hours a week.

**Wage**:$57,200 annually ($27.50 per hour)

**Location of work**: Our business address and various job sites in the Metro Vancouver area

**Skills requirements**:
**Education**: secondary/high school graduation required

**Work Experience**:demonstrable experience in stone products, setting/ installation, some fabrication/manufacturing.
- 1-2 years in the stone and tile installations is an asset and desirable.

**Language requirements**:Spoken and written English required
