The Corporate Actions team is a critical part of our firm and clients’ success and is a challenging and rewarding role for the right individual. In this role, you will experience the inner workings of asset management and will have the opportunity to advance your research, analytical and problem-solving skills for future growth and development within Connor, Clark & Lunn (CC&L).

**What You Will Do**

The Corporate Actions role serves as the key provider of accurate corporate actions information and processing for all equity and fixed income portfolios at CC&L.

**In this role, you will**:

- Communicate with custodians, portfolio managers, and key personnel across CC&L to investigate and resolve corporate action cash and holding discrepancies.
- Gather and synthesize corporate actions information from multiple sources including Bloomberg, investor relations and custodian notifications.
- Process corporate actions (ex. Mergers & acquisitions, stock dividends, rights issues, spin-offs, redemptions and mortgage-backed security pay-downs) on portfolio holdings quickly and accurately using the firm’s portfolio accounting system (APX).
- Participate in operational projects focusing on automation, efficiency, and the scalability of IPO’s services.
- Train and guide new hires on the processes.

**What You Bring**
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in Corporate Actions processing.
- Previous exposure to multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives). Prior experience with Fixed Income securities is a strong asset.
- Ability to analyze large data sets using Excel. Programming skills (SQL, Python) are an asset.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Stakeholder management - proactively building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- CFA or similar qualification is an asset.
- Experience with processing both mandatory and voluntary events is an asset.
- Experience working in Global Markets is an asset.
- Knowledge regarding trade execution and settlement is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.

The base salary range is $69,000-72,000 annually plus a competitive performance bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
