**Introduction**

Reporting to the COO, the IT Coordinator will be the dedicated customer service for software and hardware, acting as the link between our third-party IT Support provider and our customers end-users (typically internal staff). In this role, the IT Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our IT systems, infrastructure and hardware by monitoring system performance and be the dedicated advocate for our IT requirements.

This position will require an individual who thrives on relationship building, exceeding customer’s expectations and finding opportunities to continually improve service delivery.

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. Motif has 3 top-selling internal brands BoxHot, Floresense and Debunk. As well as operating a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing serviced to Licensed Producers (LP’s) and 3rd Party Brands. **Position Overview**
- Provide IT support for 200+ end users across multiple locations (Aylmer, ON plant site(s) and Remote employees in Canada) in coordination with a third party IT support provider
- Triage incidents and refer to third party ticket management system as required/appropriate
- Implement and evolve IT processes for functionality and efficiencies
- Escalate and monitor any ongoing issues with our COO
- Work closely with HornIT Support to diagnose and resolve identified problems. Specific focus areas will be in:

- IT Security
- System Infrastructure (Physical & Cloud)
- Hardware Procurement
- Microsoft Licensing
- Phone System Management
- Have a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and be able to provide training support as needed.
- Manage the printer fleet, including working both with our team and the printer vendor
- Create and maintain IT process documentation
- Manage hardware inventory, standardization, end of life, and replacement/repairs.
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
- Assist with IT procurement processes, including liaising with vendors, creating purchase orders and tracking orders and base installs of devices using provided tools.
- Play a key role in project implementation for new systems, software, etc
- Provide recommendations for technology improvements

**Qualifications**
- Must have an appreciation for and interest in technology and innovation
- Proven competency in building relationships & managing multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with iOS/Android for phones & tablets and Microsoft 365 environment are required
- Experience with learning new software systems and implementing these systems an asset
- Degree or diploma in computer sciences, computer systems/ network management or a related discipline as asset
- Critical thinker who can troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact with sensitive material and information
- Capable working both independently and in team environments, able to foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization and working styles
- Highly organized, able to juggle competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- People person who enjoys building relationships both internal to the company and external

**WORKING CONDITIONS (ON SITE)**:
This role is performed on site at our **production facility in Aylmer, Ontario** and Motif provides all required PPE and has continued manufacturing safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn at all times while inside our production areas and staff are to remain 2M+ apart unless otherwise communicated.

- Position is based in Aylmer, Ontario (nearest large metropolis - London, Ontario. Smaller town - St Thomas, Ontario)
- Some travel may be required
- After hours may be required
