Lube Technician

Jiffy Lube Chilliwack (2 Locations) is looking for a reliable and long term automotive technician to join our team. At this location we try to offer the best customer service possible to every customer. The position available is Full time automotive service technician. We work on a variety of different types of vehicles every day including cars, trucks and SUV's. Jiffy Lube specific training is provided on site. If you have previous experience in automotive mechanics, it is considered an asset, however we will train anyone who is mechanically inclined, likes working with their hands, working with people and has a great attitude.

**Required/Preferred Knowledge**:

- Customer service
- Basic knowledge of vehicles
- Some hands on experience with vehicles
- Willing to learn
- Previous automotive mechanic experience is considered an asset, but not required

**The service technician will be working upper bay doing**:

- Basic checks and adding fluids
- Washer fluid
- Coolant
- Power-steering
- Transmission
- Engine oil

**The service technician may also be lower bay doing basic checks on**:

- Differentials
- Transfer cases
- Manual transmission

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chilliwack, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Automotive repair: 1 year (preferred)
