**Junior Hydrogeologist**

**Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation**

**Sudbury/Timmins, ON**

The Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation group is seeking a Junior Hydrogeologist for our Sudbury region. While the primary component of the work is fieldwork related, you will also be required to undertake data analysis and some reporting tasks.

**What you will be doing at Pinchin**
- Work under the mentorship and guidance of a Senior Hydrogeologist and technical experts
- Complete hydrogeological field investigation programs involving drilling, test pitting, soil sampling, monitoring well installation, aquifer testing, groundwater and surface water sampling, etc.
- Reporting of hydrogeological assessments for a variety of land development projects including construction dewatering, water supply, and water balance assessments
- Participate in office and project duties such as data management, analysis and interpretation, and report preparation
- Follow safe work practices in accordance with our Health & Safety Policy
- Prepare annual monitoring reports of findings and recommendations

**What you bring to the Pinchin team**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth Sciences with a Hydrogeology option or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Civil or Environmental option
- 1-2 years of experience conducting fieldwork for hydrogeological assessments (experience analyzing pump tests considered an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent technical writing skills and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to travel for work within the Sudbury region. Occasional travel within other areas of Ontario may be required
- Availability to occasionally work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
