Sofina Foods is one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of primary and further processed protein products for retail and foodservice customers as well as international markets. We manufacture pork, beef, turkey, chicken and fish products in Canada and Europe. Our family of brands include: Cuddy, Lilydale, Janes, Mastro, San Daniele, Fletcher’s, Vienna, Riserva and Zamzam in Canada; and Youngs, Greenland and Karro’s in UK. **Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, the Co-op student is accountable for analytics and market trends, website updates, administrative and strategic support to the Insights and marketing team.

**Key Accountabilities**:
1. MARKET TRENDS AND ANALYSIS
- Monthly consumer/market/competitive trends and updates (Learning and Insights)
- To be presented to marketing leadership team monthly

**2. WEBSITE UPDATES**:

- Competitive Website scanning (best practices)
- Putting together a proposal for new functionality/look and feel
- Working with Specialty Deli Brand manager to create the brief
- Work with Agency on website development
- Execution
- Updates to other branded websites:

- Content/Copy Updates
- Working with agencies on image resizing
- Proposals on new content.

3. COMMERCIAL SUPPORT
- Building /Updating Sell Sheets for Specialty Deli Portfolio (ENG/FRE)
- Salami’s
- Prosciutto
- Mortadella
- Cooked
- Chubs
- Update “Asset Library” in SharePoint to house:

- Beauty Images, Recipe Images, inspiration images (by brand) - currently they live in multiple folders across multiple shared sites.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a College/University, 3rd or 4th year program in Marketing / Sales / related field
- Self starter with good analytical skills.
- Any working experience in sales or marketing is an asset.
- Strong MS Excel and ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discretionary manner.
- Strong organization, time management, communication and problem-solving skills.
