**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Calibration, repair and testing of instrumentation and measuring equipment as assigned.
- Complete service reports, data results, and generate calibration certificates.
- Communicate with customers to establish work scope requirements and authorizations.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure specs, procedures, part numbers and pricing.
- Communicate with supervisor/manager for approval of repairs, replacements or limited calibration authorization.
- Follow documented procedures to meet customer requirements and document all approvals and discrepancies.
- Ensure all test and measuring equipment meets quality and customer standards through inspection of the equipment against the corresponding paperwork, identify and document any issues and ensure they are corrected before equipment is released for return to customer.
- Responsible for accurate and complete data entry.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate of a post secondary technical program in a job-related discipline (instrumentation, electronics, metrology) required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic/physical properties calibration methods and practices. Familiarity of word and excel would be an asset.
- Some travel may be required and a valid drivers license is required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
